Billy Idol! 6/30/2008 Yes, I know I haven't written anything for almost a month, and I'm sorry. I'm a very busy woman. Very busy. I wasn't too busy to attend the Billy Idol concert last night at McMenamin's Edgefield. Wow. Billy Idol. Oh, sweet Billy.

Iris Rocks the Drums! Get Schooled with Guitar Center, Iris Harrison, and Hurricane! Five winner were chosen for our drum lesson that took place last Friday and Iris rocked us all with her rat-a-tat-tat on the kit!
Fun With Fire. 5/27/08 Actually, not so much fun. Burning off your eyebrows and catching more than one building and BBQ on fire really isn't all it's cracked up to be. When I asked Shannon for BBQ advice, his reply was "I use a blow torch and a welders mask!" Hmmm, sound advice.....
I had to capture a picture of the moronic parking spaces that people create down in our neck of the woods. Granted, there is a boat load of construction going on but really, squeezing into a spot on the street where one half of your car is hanging out into our driveway is just too much to handle.

Not only is he the PD of KGON, but he's the VP of Programming for all of our Portland stations. And I keep messing up. And he keeps helping me fix my mess-ups.
Photo Shoot From Hell! Not many people enjoy getting their picture taken. Especially me. And when the photographer is used to photographing swimsuit models, I would rather have crashed my car on the way to the shoot to avoid the insufferable humiliation than to actually show up and have him use the wide-angle lense....

Guide to Concert Etiquette 12/18/2007 I really didn't think I needed this type of concert advice, but as I scrolled through these little tidbits of good conduct, I decided that I probably shouldn't be in a full on lip-lock while in the presence of others but I also thought that I'm gonna wear the t-shirt if I damned well please. Led Zeppelin Reunion Concert! 12/10/2007 *Updated 12/12/2007 How I wish I would have been there, but considering tickets were doled out lottery style and more than twenty million people tried to get them, my chances were slim to none. If I had over $100,000 dollars to donate, as did one 25-year-old Scottish lad, my chances may have been better. I wonder if I can get that kids phone number....
I can't possibly put into words just how amazing Trans-Siberian Orchestra really is in concert. I had the opportunity to see both of their shows today at the Rose Garden and, between Van Halen last night and TSO today, you won't believe who I liked more...
